Both Sides

She walks on the parapet of lethargy
Drudgery of insomnious nights

Gazing at the Orion in the dark
The fore-ordination of effervescent light

Tresses brimming with galaxies
As they ebbed on scintillant tides

Her toes spangled on the fringes
The stelliform blanket abandoned behind

Burnished beasts buoyant
Amidst the cosmos' strides

Beholding her dreamscape illuminated
With such dauntless might

A bantam footstep forward
Perishing pennons gaining flight

She leaped before it bridled her
She couldn't ply both sides
