Reign of a King: Rina Kent

If you go into Reign of a King expecting romance, think again. Rina Kent delivers a cold, calculated power game where Jonathan King doesn’t fall—he takes. Ruthless, controlled, and always ten steps ahead, he turns people into pawns… and Aurora was never meant to matter.

But she does.

What follows isn’t love—it’s obsession wrapped in tension, secrets, and a connection that feels dangerously close to self-destruction.

I never thought I’d be here, reading a whole book about Jonathan King—but here we are.

As much as I adored Aiden, I was lowkey craving his father more 🖤

That being said… I don’t know if bingeing every Rina Kent book was my best decision. Yes, I get it—the rinaverse and all that—but they’re starting to blur together a little too much. Same energy, different names, same chaos in a slightly different suit.

I’ll definitely finish Reign of a King, but I might need a break after. Especially with all the good thrillers dropping this May 👀

Still—Jonathan surprised me. And I do like them a little possessive, a little rough… so this hit better than I expected.

Did I enjoy it? Yes.

Am I sprinting to the next one? Absolutely not.
